Our visit to the Sinai Academy
Our visit to the Sinai Academy Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in Bloubergrant. It was very nice we learnt about their religion and to respect them. We ate jewish bread called challah bread and we drank grape juice and before we ate and drank we prayed the most important prayer in judaism history the shawl prayer and we prayed in a synagogue the boys and girls were separated because they did not want to let the boys and girls sit next to each other because they don't get distracted with a girl/boy . The people who teach us about God is called a pastor for Jews it's called a rabbi. A Torah is the law in judaism the law of God was revealed to moses and recorded in the first five books of hebrew scriptures.In jew religion a mezuzah is a parchment inscribed with religious texts and attached in a case to the doorpost of a jewish house as a sign of faith.
